Lend A Friend Pty Ltd will:
- Empower the Participant to achieve their NDIS goals and to increase and maintain their dignity and independence
- Once agreed, provide supports that meet the Participant’s needs at the Participant’s preferred times
- Ensure that the services provided to the Participant are guided via a client centred approach, consulting with the Participant on decisions
- Maintain the privacy and confidentiality of the Participant’s information, only providing it those who require it to work with the Participant, and to those who the Participant provides consent to receive it
- Treat the Participant with courtesy and respect
- Listen to the Participant’s feedback and endeavour to resolve disputes and problems quickly and efficiently
- Have insurance which covers the services provided to the client
- Provide progress reports when necessary to track the development of the Participant
- Review the service with the Participant as needed and when a new NDIS plan is made for the Participant
- Practice social distancing, hygiene etiquette and inform Participants of sickness or symptoms during the Covid-19 pandemic
- Take all reasonable steps to prevent and respond to all forms of violence, exploitation, sexual or other abuse and neglect of persons with a disability
- Comply with the NDIS Practice Standards and Code of Conduct of the NDIS
- Give the Participant the required notice if the Provider needs to end the Service Agreement (see ‘Revision and Termination of Service Agreement’ for more information)
- Provide supports in a manner consistent with all relevant laws, including the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013 and rules, and the Australian Consumer Law; keep accurate records on the supports provided to the Participant, and issue regular invoices or statements of the supports delivered to the Participant
