Policy
Member Rights
As per the NDIS Code of Conduct, the Provider will ensure the Member has the right to:
- Maintain individual rights to freedom of expression, self-determination and decision making (in accordance with laws)
- Privacy of their information
- Receive supports in a safe and competent manner, delivered with care and skill
- Be treated with integrity, honesty, and transparency
- Have feedback and concerns about matters that may impact the quality and safety of the supports provided heard and responded to in a timely manner
- Be treated with dignity, respect and to always feel safe
- Have their choices guide the Service Provider, and make their own decisions where it is safe to do so
- Refuse services by the Provider or request different Helpers, and not have their outcomes of future requests prejudiced by their past actions
- Negotiate different shift times, Helpers and services provided, including changing or terminating their Service Agreement
Helper & Provider Rights
Lend A Friend Pty Ltd and its Helpers have the rights to:
- Suspend or discontinue services in the case of a breach of the service agreement or in the event of a safety issue which has not been solved
